Coalition Leadership

Living Streets Alliance knows that thriving communities are built on transportation choices. We joined the Transit for All Coalition because everyone deserves safe, affordable, and reliable ways to get where they need to go, and fare-free transit strengthens our entire transportation system by expanding opportunity and making it easier for people to choose transportation options beyond driving.

Tucson for Everyone represents thousands of Tucson residents in a shared vision for a more affordable city. Our years spent working on housing projects and policy left us with an understanding of how deeply interconnected housing is with transportation. We embraced the opportunity to be a founding member of the Transit for All Coalition and broaden our vision of what a Tucson built for Everyone can look like. 

Familias Unidas Ganando Accesibilidad (Families United Gaining Accessibility) is a grassroots coalition that sees the bicycle as an amazing tool to be in community with people and mobilize around important issues. We organize two monthly community bike rides in the Southside and Westside and advocate for a more accessible Tucson.

Zero Fares Tucson formed in January 2023 to give a voice to the individuals and organizations who appreciated our fare-free transit and wanted to see it continue. We worked to educate the community about its benefits and to show our elected officials what a positive impact the zero-fare policy has. ZFT soon joined with other community groups to found the Transit for All Coalition, and together we continue to advocate for an expanded and universally accessible transit system that will serve the community now and even better in the future.
